Growing Together

About Our Kindy

Part of the Kawana Community since 1989…

We are proud of the strong and respectful relationships we build with our children, their families and our wider community. Our natural, unhurried and homely environment welcomes children, and their families, to play, explore, create and make new friendships.

We embrace each child’s unique spirit and believe they will thrive through developing a sense of belonging, connectedness and wellbeing. This is reflected in our underlying values where we work on building strong foundations of love, care, respect and mindfulness.

Love

“When educating the minds of our youth, we must not forget to educate their hearts.”

~ Dalai Lama

Care

“To make a difference in someone’s life you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful, or perfect. You just have to care.”

~ Mandy Hale

Respect

“We may have different religions, different languages, different coloured skin, but we all belong to one human race.”

~ Kofi Annan

Mindfulness

“The little things? The little moments? They aren’t little.”

~ Jon Kabat-Zinn

"This is my second year (2nd child) with C&K Kawana. The educators are extremely caring, nurturing and experienced. The garden/playground is very cute, natural, rustic and well thought out! I always remember the first time going for my walk around and I actually cried because it just felt so warm and inviting. This is both the environment and the educators that were inviting! My children had absolutely no issues settling in at C&K and both have made amazing friendships through their C&K journey as have I! C&K Kawana offer a truly 5-star service!"
~ Nicola
