Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)

Being an Early Childhood Teacher has allowed me to fulfil my passions for helping others and for travelling. I have had many opportunities to work, live and volunteer overseas and in rural Queensland. Although there were many challenges along the way, I believe these experiences have enriched my life through developing my understanding of different people’s needs and ways of life; various cultures, religions and beliefs; and also in building my own resilience and resourcefulness. I have also completed further studies around Speech and Drama, and Teaching English as a Second Language. I love being a part of Kawana Community Kindergarten and I adore the rich, natural learning environment and the relationships that develop between educators, the children, their families and the wider community.
